4. RW-ers are situational "law & order" types

Lots of military and law enforcement worship. "Lock 'em up and throw away the key". "Do as you're told" fascists. All true, except if they get popped on a DWI, speeding or other moving violation. Or they violate some other civil property code. Or their spoiled fratboy son gets caught damaging property on a prank.

Only then do they moan and wail about tyranny of a police state and wax dramatic about freedom.

5. Makes me really wonder who *REALLY* won World War II sometimes.

Republicans say they hate Hitler and the idea of "big government", yet they'll gladly brag about escalating surveillance and defend our out of control, highly militaristic police force. And they'll never have a debate without comparing something to what Hitler did, even if it has nothing to do with anything. Like they're experiencing Stockholm Syndrome, no?
