Thom Hartmann today was explaining why sociopathy CAN apply to corporations, since the shills on Supreme Ct now ruled "corps are persons", A sociopath acts in his/her own interest, without regard to the people. If a sociopath does harm to people, kills them , endangers them etc. He is a criminal and put in jail. THE same laws should be applied equally now, if the Supreme Court has any integrity,

Therefore WHY are taxpayers and American citizens required to bail out corporate criminals? It is morally and ethically incorrect. Thanks to the Sup Ct

Glad you're here! And I'd bring the band!

Imagine what kind of a party we could throw if bush/cheney/& company were ever taken to the Hague...

Well, I can dream, can't I?

Some great people here yes indeed the prosecution of those who made Billions off illegal wars would prove justice can still exist......i think it was 36 BILLION FOR Cheney. so glad 2 find a forum with humanity unlikwe the rw real estate forum i frequented (lol no comment) although even there there is a great backlash against the neocons of 2001. perhaps the millenials will start the wave? many detest the lies that have been told for the past 14 years now~ the phony christian meme isnt selling )))))))

This lifelong Catholic is STILL listening intently and carefully for ANY of their quotes that involve the Beatitudes or the "feed My lambs, feed My sheep," or "the lilies of the field neither toil nor spin, yet not even Solomon in all his glory was arrayed like one of these" or "whatever you do to the least of these, you do to Me," or any of it.

Our Lord NEVER said (at least what I studied non-stop in Catholic school, or read later on for myself) "if you don't work you don't eat." That came from some letter from Paul the Hard-ass. And even HE in all his hard-assedness wrote the 1Corinthians epistle about what real selfless non-calculating non-agenda-driven LOVE is.

These people who call themselves "Christians" and wrap themselves around the Bible and the Cross - are little more than latter-day Pharisees. From all my observations, I have seen them neither practice nor preach the true message of Jesus.
