1. I needed a barf bag more than heart meds.

The sobriquet, "Uncle Tom", was the first impression I had. Elder's cringeworthy recitation of the same trite litany of rightwing talking points to smear the victim is the stale theme song that defines Fox news race baiting.

They did the same with Trayvon Martin, hauling out their contracted black contributors to help demonize that teenager in a media driven blitzkrieg to turn public opinion against him.

Black people are black; therefore they are the real racist just for being black. Think about it- if poor people were to act like rich people they'd be no poverty. If the Jews in the 30's and 40's had acted like the Nazis , there would have been no Holocaust. If the Native Americans had acted like --- well, you get the idea. The nerve of those "different" people .They just keep bringing it on themselves

That is, Elder didn't really say that. But like other CAPTIONers, I tried to channel his essence. (By the wuality of your post, I think you already know that, but just in case . . .)

Your post by the way is delicious! I mean, in one sentence you showed how the War on Poverty can really be won!! congratulations!!! (If only LBJ had you in his cabinet.)

All black people are really politically conservative at heart. ,. . . In fact, black voters are for voter ID laws, the freedom to fly the Southern flag on state buildings, the freedom to refuse service to anyone the owner of the establishment wants, and stop-and-frisk policing policies, you name it. . . It's the Democrats who fool them into thinking that such issues are not in their benefit."
