1. In Florida, mandatory minimum sentence is 9 1/4 years.

At the judge's discretion, it can be up to 15 years in prison, plus 15 years probation, plus $10,000 in fines, or any combination thereof.

I'm not an expert, but federal law does allow for federal charges on denying people life "under color of law." Which was primarily an anti-lynching law, so it covers not just government employees but also others. As to how tightly that's defined, I really don't know. I do know though that that charge carries up to and including the death penalty.

when he got out. Beware...he'll be looking for revenge.

This guy not only ruined/ended Travon's life but he ruined his own for other reason than hate and paramania.

5. If he gets the maximum sentence for manslaughter, he'd be 41 when he gets out of prison.

6. 15 years max, of which he would have to serve at least 85% of the sentence
