Will Boner and the rest tell us how we will pay for this "escalation" in the war on terror??

Or, will we just hear about it later in the form of turning Soc. Sec. into a Wall Street shit fund?

Or, by turning Medicare into a 6K yearly voucher?

Or, that we no longer have the money to fund education the way we really should?

Or, that 1 in 3 instead of 4 U.S. children will now go to bed hungry?

Or, that we must cut medical research?

Anything but taxing corporations like Exxon Mobil who garner over 10 billion in quarterly profits?

The only time Boner's congress stays at work, is when he asks "how we gonna pay for it"?

It doesn't matter if you support this new "escalation" or not. It's about our money and what these bastards tell us LATER what we must sacrifice. When policy really will help us, he wants to know how we are going to pay for it. When ideas are discussed? He closes shop and goes home.

I, want to know how we will pay for this war, that Nelson and Rubio say will probably take YEARS! What will they take from us in the name of the War on Terror?????????

Thanks, I had to ask all of this, as we head into midterms, over "who will keep us safe"? Later, they will tell the little people, we have to cut things, to pay for it. Please don't forget their past tactics!

Can we discuss this and rec so the media will at least ask this question? How will we pay for this?

I repeated all of the above too...like turning Soc. Sec. into a Wall Street "shit fund". Went down this list and reminded her of the untaxed profits of Exxon Mobil EVERY THREE MONTHS! She agreed! She said thank you and that this is A very good question.

I reminded her too....it's her money as well.

So if you want to make a call, and ask them how will we be paying for this, it's one number for all of them. Just ask for your so called "rep" at the number below. It's our money, government, and country!

And he assured us that we're in better shape than ever.

Next week marks 6 years since our economy suffered its worst setback since the Great Depression.

Yet despite these shocks; through the pain we have felt and the grueling work required to bounce back – America is better positioned today to seize the future than any other nation on Earth.
Our technology companies and universities are unmatched; our manufacturing and auto industries are thriving. Energy independence is closer than it’s been in decades. For all the work that remains, our businesses are in the longest uninterrupted stretch of job creation in our history. Despite all the divisions and discord within our democracy, I see the grit and determination and common goodness of the American people every single day – and that makes me more confident than ever about our country’s future.

So it's all good. I don't understand your problem.

Despite Recovery, Families poorer - Atlantic Journal Constitution
and...

U.S. poverty rises despite economic recovery | Reuters

(Reuters) - The number of U.S. residents living in poverty edged up to 46.5 million last year, the latest sign that an economic recovery marked by a stock market boom has not trickled down to ordinary Americans.

The figures from the Census Bureau on Tuesday highlighted the lingering scars from the 2007-2009 recession and added fresh fuel to debates over government austerity and widening income inequality. It could also renew calls to raise the minimum wage.
Although the number of people in poverty went up from 46.2 million in 2011, the national poverty rate was unchanged at 15 percent, the annual report said. The poverty threshold in 2012 was an income of $23,492 for a family of four.

"Today's data underscore that it is time for Congress to pivot from a focus on austerity to an agenda emphasizing jobs and shared economic growth," said Neera Tanden, president of the Center for American Progress, a liberal policy group in Washington.

The recovery from the worst recession since the 1930s has been marked by a jump in stock prices to record highs, aided in part by the Federal Reserve's ultra easy monetary policy.
While the Standard & Poor's 500 index gained 16 percent on a total return basis last year, including reinvested dividends, the Census Bureau report showed median household income slipped to $51,017 from of $51,100 in 2011.

The economy has struggled to sustain growth rates of more than 2.5 percent since the recession ended. Although the bulk of the more than 8 million jobs lost during the downturn have been recouped, many of the jobs have been in services industries such as retail and restaurants that typically do not pay well.

Belt-tightening in Washington to slash the government's budget deficit has significantly shrunk the social safety net.
