(18,219 posts)but it is hard to imagine that most of the people who follow a religion have abnormal brains. I do not presume that I am one of the few who are "normal". And to be honest, that is not something people usually call me.

Let's bring back the lions and remind them what persecution looks like. Then maybe they'll shut up for a second.

(1,587 posts)I was behind a couple of young women who kept going on and on about the Rapture, and how good it was going to be, who was bound for the down-below place, etc. They were quite obnoxious about it.
I could tell the clerk was about to say something, so I piped up: "Christians. Can't live with them, can't feed them to the lions anymore."
That shut them both up really quick. They gave me some ugly looks, but paid for their book and took off.
Sometimes, I'm just in a mood, ya know?
