Chris Matthews gets served by President Obama at the Summit of the Americas

from The Obama Diary:

(AP Photo/Carolyn Kaster)

President Barack Obama listens to a question at the CEO Summit on the sidelines of the Summit of the Americas in Cartagena, Colombia, April 14. MSNBC’s Chris Matthews was the moderator for the discussion.

Matthews:

How do you respond to Brazil's demand to be both partners and rivals? . . . they want to come North -- use our educational resources to learn how to compete with us . . . Right Mr. President? Right Mrs. President? . . . You want to learn everything we know and take it back and shove it at us . . . .

President Obama:

"Chris, I'm not sure you're characterizing what Ms. Rousseff said, but . . . this is what happens when you get some of our U.S. political commentators moderating a panel . . . they try to get -- they try to stir up things that may not always be there . . . and Chris is one of the best!""

I love that "this is what you get..." line. If I were Matthews I'd die of embarrassment...

I figured that I could really throw hardballs at my TV, or not watch him for quite a while. Sometimes I can go one year without seeing his face, my TV feels good and I do too.

This really works with FAUX NEWS, as well.

Brazil was sitting right there.

Mathews might have thought he was being 'cute', but he certainly was not.

Good for President Obama.

your expression: "Mandibular Masturbator, always jacking off at the jaws..."

Perfect description of that ass, Tweety.

And I, too, stopped watching years ago... can't stand him

he thinks that he himself is part of the equation...that's why he almost always brings up Tip O'Neill and the fact that he worked for him...it places him at the center of the action - or so he thinks. He's an idiot and treating heads of state like they're one of his Hairball guests is not only reprehensible, but counterproductive. I would submit that this is the last time he'll be chairing a panel internationally.

This is the stupidest man on television, bar Wolf Blitzer. A proven sexist who voted Bush in 2000.
