(95,247 posts)The treatment of many protesters here at the hands of police give protests from the United States about police conduct in suppressing demonstrations a distinct 'do as I say, not as I do' air. I will grant you that what happens after the initial beating and arrest will be considerably worse in China or Iran, but that is a different question.
