Teabaggers Truly ARE Grade A USDA Choice #1 MORONS!!!

I had to renew my driver's license back in June. Unfortunately, I misplaced it a couple of weeks ago and yesterday went to DMV in Augusta, Maine to order a duplicate (which I'm sure will arrive about 4 minutes BEFORE I find the original).

In the parking lot there are about 6 spaces for the cars of people who are going to take their driver's test. There is a huge white sign there with big and wide blue letters giving the instruction to BACK into the spot and that the spots are RESERVED for the driver's tests. Right exactly in front of the sign there was a car parked front end in at the spot DIRECTLY IN FRONT of the sign. As I passed the car, as sure as shooting, I saw the "don't tread on me" teabagger bumper sticker.

THESE are the type of people that the voters are supposedly going to entrust with both houses of congress in a week and a half? JEEEZIS ! If we Democrats allow that to happen because people like Chuck Todd decided, before all of the 2012 votes were even counted, that 2014 was going to be a big teabagger blowout like the one that we allowed in 2010, than we will deserve EVERYTHING that happens to us over the next 2 years . We will also be letting down one of the best Presidents to serve in my nearly 60 years on this Earth.

Just my 2 cents and quite probably overpriced at that. Good night everybody!

PEACE!

Which is believing fervently in two totally conflicting viewpoints.

The people who are "law and order" conservatives are the same people who are outraged when they get a traffic ticket.

The retirees who complain that they didn't get a cost of living raise on their Social Security during the recession are the same people who complain about the rise in food stamp recipients during the recession.

The people who complain about "ignorant" young people are the same people who complain about paying taxes for public schools.

The people who depend on Medicare are the same people who complain about the "Government Takeover" of healthcare under Obamacare.

The people who brag about their firearm collection are the same people who claim their Second Amendment rights have been taken away.

The people who bemoan the decline of the middle-class are the same people who are against unions and the minimum wage.

These are just the tip of the iceberg and I could go on and on, but my point is that there is no logic or truth in many of the conservative beliefs.

And yet: So many examples remain, the list can go on and on. I have witnessed and dealt with these same willingly uninformed sorts for too long. Call them out on any one point on their breach of logic ( let alone bring up cognitive dissonance ) and they'll switch to another issue that they either: Hope you can't refute, or may hopefully agree with them on.

They're the absolute bane of my existence.

Might I add: Farmers who rip people receiving public assistance while they are the largest, or among the largest recipients of federal farm program payments in their county, totaling in the tens or hundreds of thousands of dollars a year. I've met several such farmers then saw how much money in farm program payments they've received on the Environmental Working Group website.

4. which just shows that ignorance is all around us

We see ignorance every where, every day. I mean ignorance from the Buddhist perspective, which is believing that my sense of "self" is some real, solid thing that is the center of the universe and more important to maintain than anyone else's life or dreams. Ignorance takes many forms, but specifically, we recognize it to manifest as greed, anger, arrogance , envy, and stupidity. I used to get really angry and pissed off at the stupid and selfish Tbaggers, but anger is something that I am trying to diminish, not encourage. Mostly now, I experience great sadness for these people. It must be awful to go through life afraid of, and resisting liberalizing social changes, surrounded by people-not-like-me, and having my deeply held religious beliefs ridiculed and and considered irrelevant. They are so out of touch with how their world views just hold their pain in place. Their ignorance and petty resentments inflict so much pain on everyone else. They are very dangerous people. They only way any of them ever begin to wake up (if at all), is when some great tragedy enters their life, and they begin to understand that other people are also suffering.

Had it been me, I would have found a DPS officer and insisted that he ticket that car.

and why no such thing as a reasoned debate and the biggest failing of Obama from day he took office was a belief he could "talk" to them...

he should have put on the big boy pants and told them where to go. Believe me, America would be different today had he stood tall and called them out directly and forcefully instead of trying to negotiate with them

no such thing is possible.

He continued to try to reach out to them even after they made their hatred abundantly clear. I guess that sometimes one may be a bit too willing to accommodate. These same teabagging morons are the same ones who bemoan a "lack of civility"...YIKES!

PEACE!
