There will never be a ballot worth your vote .

Dems can't do anything if they don't have the power. Now they have even less power.
Voting is the only way we change things.
Stay home in 2016 too because you are not going to get what you want from the Repubs.

The best ballot would have my name on it.

But since that's not going to happen I'll continue to vote D.

Always fight the good fight.

They've already disengaged. Everyone here is a committed partisan that don't need convincing to vote against Republicans. I have voted straight Democrat for the past several election cycles animated by nothing more than fear of the Republican Party, but yellow dog Democrats are not the majority of the country.

The problem I keep coming back to is this Party is giving me nothing I can use to sell it. I need to convince my friends to support Democrats, but the Party doesn't take any strong moral stances. The Party Platform is that climate change is real and catastrophic, but that something should be done about it sometime later (if it won't hurt the economy). Workers rights are SUPER IMPORTANT, just not as important as free trade agreements and workers visas. Unions and teachers are vital pillars of our nation, which is why we should bust all the unions and replace teachers with the 21st century equivalent of peace corp volunteers. Regulation of the financial industry is critical to avoid another crisis, which is why we are going to look the other way when politically connected FIRE plutocrats get caught pilfering the cookie jar. Social Security is a lifeline for seniors around the country, but we are totally cool with privatizing it in the proper New Democrat fashion.

I can't just keep saying the Republicans are worse. I know they are worse, and that may be enough for me, but it is not working outside of the echo chamber.

Of course there may be a few. But most people here are voting at every possibility.

They are always mouthing off and never making good suggestions. They are here to draw blood.
