Fracking accident kills one Halliburton worker, injures 2 at Weld County site
A fracking accident on Thursday killed one worker and seriously injured two others at a rig site near Mead in Weld County.
The accident happened at an Anardarko Petroleum Corp. location during fracking operations run by Halliburton. It prompted Anadarko to suspend all fracking operations in the area as a safety measure.
Two other Halliburton employees were taken to Denver Health and Medical Center of the Rockies in Loveland.
