Question Missouri Grand Jury

I read that a policeman is allowed to fire at a fleeing suspect if the suspect has committed a felony.

Question
If there was an instance of physically resisting arrest by Brown at the car, but not an actual
punch thrown at the officer, did Brown commit a felony?

If Officer Wilson assaulted M Brown first as reported, would Brown have been justified in hittingh Wilson in an act of self defense?

As to whether resisting arrest would be classified as a felony or misdemeanor under Missouri law, more information then I believe is currently available would be needed for an accurate answer.

Also whether or not Wilson was legally entitled to shoot Brown under the fleeing felon ruling is a legal grey area: http://legalinsurrection.com/2014/08/did-mo-law-allow-for-deadly-force-arrest-of-mike-brown/
