Numerous women came forward during the recall to detail his groping, and were demonized by the GOP, so their family-friendly "reformer" could get elected governor of Culleefornya.
He's still out there, even after his adultery came to light,, making movies, and hoping he can get the constitution changed to run for president:

Isn't it time he also be shunned from polite society for his shoddy treatment of women?

(75,480 posts)Unfortunately, it's too late to take back his time as Governor, however it might stop him in his tracks from ever seeking office again if he is so inclined and frankly if I never have to see another movie trailer or guest appearance by him on a talk show, that will be great too.

(9,033 posts)I doubt if his ego would permit another run for office. Plus he has even more baggage now (acknowledged illegitimate child with an employee) and he doesn't have Maria in his corner any more. I doubt if he has the guts to face the electorate or the media again.

(771 posts)Arnold's was more groping/harassing and general misogynistic view of women where Cosby accusers say they were drugged and raped.
People see groping versus drugged and raped differently. Though neither is acceptable.

(75,480 posts)killing them? One may be more heinous than the other, but the victim is no less traumatized or dead. I do not give Arnold a pass on this just because it's a better degree of unacceptable behavior.

(666 posts)with stories about Bill Clinton that detailed groping and even rape, should the media go after him again too?
Cleita
(75,480 posts)and examine in detail everything Clinton did that was considered adultery? Also, Clinton's dalliances were consensual and when it appeared that the person wasn't willing, like Paula Jones for instance, he backed off. Arnolds molestations were mostly not consensual and Bill Cosby's seem to be rape.

(666 posts)several women who claim that they were sexually harassed, groped, and raped by Bill Clinton. Somehow, he gets a pass while Bill Cosby gets tried and convicted by the media and many here.

(7,908 posts)very closely: Schwarze-Nazi, Ted Nugent and Stephen Collins (of Seventh Heaven fame) are the 3 that pop into my head as worthy of some serious scrutiny at the level Cosby is receiving.
