This would be the same Barclays that's up to its ears in every financial scandal in the book - FX rigging, LIBOR rigging, etc. Wonder what role he played, if any? Seems that evading regulatory oversight and hiding abuses is exactly what you'd hire an elitist insider politician to advise you on...
