(12,157 posts)The following years don't tell the percentage stopped and frisked ages 14-25. I am an old white man but I was stopped and frisked at least twice in Houston Texas when I was in that range of 14-25. I'll bet that the majority of whites which make up 10 to 12% of those stopped and frisked are in the age range of 14-25.
I see the use of this tactic against those who are functionally powerless against the might of the police. So the poor, people of color and the young. I was older than 14 when it happened to me but it left me with the bitter/sour taste of anger in my mouth. To this day I have little trust for an unknown police officer. If I know them I will judge them on that knowledge, but those that are strangers have to earn respect.

Wow, just the numbers of people, of any color, getting harassed by police per year is alarming.
