Unions are the backbone of the working class and even people like myself who work for companies that aren't unionized have a lot to thank unions for. 40 hour work week, overtime, paid vacations, workman's comp if I get hurt on the job, among other things. Reagan all but destroyed unions and we need to bring them back to give workers even more rights.
