The attendees run out and tell their friends he must be a good person because he was a guest speaker at their meeting.

excuse of "hey, who knew there were racists at a racists convention led by David Duke" is a lie too far for anyone.

"Gentlemen racists"....Lindsey Graham showed them how to put on that mask and take it to the ball.

from doing so.

They know they are the minority and that the only way their agenda of death and destruction can be carried out is if they steal elections by preventing us from voting, or convincing us our vote is a waste of time.

Andy by without the baggage they do not mean without the racism, they mean without the public's knowledge of the racism

They pride themselves on their unique ability to brand their opponents with character attacks, because they are the moral ones. Uh.....right!

GOP house - Mia Love is a total crack pot. We are in a world of hurt - America.

Keep government out of my personal life shows how stupid GOP base truly is. This new crazy congress of GOPs will "try" and take control of every single aspect of America's life.

and blkmusclemachine is right for some it is a badge of honor, which is very scary indeed.

They really, really make me sick because their values are so defunct of any reason, logic, intelligence and you can forget all about compassion and humanity.

I brought this up to one on my repub friends who shot back that Scalise said it 13 years ago, where Byrd was elected Senate Majority Whip 7 years after filibustering the Civil Rights Act. That just sounds like a deflection to me.

Back during the Reagan era, Pat Buchanan was Reagan's Director of Communications and in 89 Buchanan wrote extensively in defense of David Duke, and specifically said Duke had many ideas that Republicans should be promoting as well. Duke had defenders in the Reagan/Bush White House. Of course Reagan's was a wildly racist administration which attracted racists and homophobes with great intention and skill.

The only difference between the Republican Party and the KKK are the costumes. They can try to mask it up with PR control but their platform and their actions speak for themselves.
