Maria Shriver Ready To Cut Off $49 Million Kennedy Inheritance to Son Over Miley Cyrus Relationship

Patrick Schwarzenegger is close to losing his family's trust fund worth $49 million if he continued his relationship with Miley Cyrus, media reports said, citing sources. The 21-year-old actor is set to acquire the money after he turns 25. Patrick's parents -- Arnold Schwarzenegger and Maria Shriver -- are "convinced she is a negative influence on their son,” sources close to the family said. Patrick’s parents are reportedly afraid that their son's relationship with the “Wrecking Ball” singer would take him down the wrong path.

“Maria especially is hoping the shock tactic of threatening to cut him off financially will scare him in to giving Miley the elbow,” a source reportedly said. However, Patrick reportedly said he would "rather be with Miley than have the money." The news comes amid reports that “The Terminator” star has approved of his son’s relationship with Cyrus. Arnold celebrated New Year’s Eve with the two, along with his girlfriend Heather Milligan.

“Arnold approves of his son’s new relationship, and he was the one who suggested they all spend New Year’s Eve together in Las Vegas,” a source said, at the time, according to Fox News. Patrick also reportedly took Cyrus along with him to visit his relatives in Massachusetts during Christmas holidays. Earlier, reports had surfaced that Shriver disapproved of her son's relationship with Cyrus and also banned the singer from her house.

Meanwhile, concerns over Cyrus’ drug use reignited after she was seen surrounded with drug paraphernalia in a picture obtained by The Sun. The photograph was reportedly taken during a recording session in Los Angeles in November 2014.
