Halleluia! Speaker John Boner has been re-elected in the US House! Let the news go forth! An insurrection led by 20-some T-Baggers failed to unseat the worst Speaker in the history of the United States House of Representatives. Thus, continues the do-nothing record of these idiotic right-wing thugs who claim to represent “the people.” The next two years under Boner’s inept, incompetent “leadership” will be a true house-of-mirrors experience. Let’s roll, John! Bring it!
Also, the cowardly disrespect by New York City’s “finest” continues. Now, to further express their pique, their cry-baby response to that city’s mayor, the cops are refusing to perform the basics of community policing; arrests for so-called “nuisance” crimes are approaching zero, traffic citations the same – reducing the city’s revenue by millions of dollars in income from fines. But, by god, let some civil libertarians gather in one of the city’s parks and these militarized creeps will show up in force to enforce the “law” against expressions of first amendment rights with all sorts of lethality.
And . . . as the New Year slogs along let us not forget the mighty US is still a state that uses torture and human experimentation in implementing that torture as a matter of policy. USA! USA!
