Mitt Romney, Who Swore He Isn’t Considering 2016 Run, Is Now Considering It

Mitt Romney will be eternally running for President. He's like a zombie that won't die and keeps on coming back for more.

Mitt Romney, Who Swore He Isn’t Considering 2016 Run, Is Now Considering It
by Josh Feldman | 5:27 pm, January 9th, 2015

Mitt Romney has repeatedly, adamantly, insistently told curious reporters he isn’t planning to run in 2016. Yep, there is no way, no how it is going to happen, so you might as well go home, safe and secure in the knowledge that Romney’s already had his fill of running for president and he’s gonna leave 2016 to newer, fresher candidates.

Wait, what’s that?

He said what? He’s considering running again?

Yep, he is. Per the WSJ:

Former Massachusetts Gov. Mitt Romney , the Republican presidential nominee in 2012, told a meeting of donors Friday that he is considering another White House bid in 2016, people present said.

What do I know.. absolutely nothing.. We do know from experience though that the mediawhores will try to stick it to the Dem worse with the 24/7 "news" cycles.. until the gop does something so egregious that they can't ignore it. "47%" creepiness comes to mind. He couldn't etch a sketch that away no matter how much Rmoney he has.

non crazies. at least compared to the Ted Cruz, Rand Paul, Ben Carson, and many of the others who have been mentioned.

usually the less crazy type tends to win in the republican primary because the crazies end up splitting the vote. this happened with Newt and Santorum who split the crazy vote while Romney was able to get the rest to win the nomination.

If Jeb locks up the support of the GOP donor class now, there will be no way for Romney to try to run later. This announcement is designed to slow down the Donor Class movement towards Jeb

One of my toys is my own button machine (one of my kids ran for statewide office and we figured out that having a button machine was a way around the spending limits). I need to find the templates for the buttons that I used in 2012 and can some new ones like the zombie Romney motif

Romney is doing exactly what you do at this point: discussing options with advisors and attempting to secure support from potential funders. Elizabeth Warren is.....doing her job in the Senate.
