These vandals do not represent France, or the West

http://www.independent.co.uk/news/world/europe/firebombs-and-pigs-heads-thrown-into-mosques-as-antimuslim-attacks-increase-after-paris-shootings-9977423.html

Twenty-six mosques around France have been subject to attack by firebombs, gunfire, pig heads, and grenades as Muslims are targeted with violence in the wake of the Paris attacks.

France’s National Observatory Against Islamophobia reports that since last Wednesday a total of 60 Islamophobic incidents have been recorded, with countless minor encounters believed to have gone unreported.

Amongst the incidents, a mosque in Le Mans was hit with four grenades, and gunfire directed through one of its windows.

While Islamophobic incidents are nothing new, there appears to have been a marked increase in attacks in the wake of the shootings at the French satirical newspaper Charlie Hebdo.

Disgusting and inexcusable. This is not the future of French culture, but the long-abandoned past.

This kind of hideous behavior probably puts a smile on the faces of the ISIS and Al Queda leaders.

The European racist movement and ISIS/AQ absolutely require one another's existence to keep going.

What a lot of people don't know is that there has been a significant amount of prejudice in Europe against immigrants. This event has given them an excuse to be "outraged" and to express that outrage in acts like this.

Any time you get people excited about "free speech," religion, patriotism, football games, etc., there are always thugs who go too far.

I'm surprised that that hasn't happened here with all of the media (FOX) attention.

Remember after 9/11 when some poor Sikh (India) who ran a gas station was killed? I know of other Indians who have been attacked because a lot of us don't know one ethnicity from another.

It's just human that when people support one cause, they feel that they have to hate somebody else who doesn't agree.

I vote for Tolerance. Can't we all just get along?

Fundies of all stripes would love to have this morph into a religious war.
