Uh Oh, Scaife children cite ‘enormous’ sums lost on his newspaper!

Attorneys representing the children of Richard Mellon Scaife hope to recover nine-figure sums from the late publisher’s estate, because they believe part of it was drained in pursuit of the father’s emotion-fueled quest to defeat his newspaper’s competition.

Mr. Scaife’s “vehement dislike for the owners of the Post-Gazette caused him to spend enormous sums to fulfill his intention to put the Post-Gazette out of business,” wrote attorneys for the daughter, Jennie Scaife, in one of numerous related filings in Allegheny County Orphans Court on Thursday.

how can you stay in business by delivering the paper for a dollar per week? He pushed his agenda at a cost of $300 million, buying up most of the small papers in the area and turning them in to propaganda tools. The bile that spews from the 'Trib' is a total rehash of every right wing talking point since the New Deal. I hate to see anyone lose a job, but this rag needs put to bed
My goodness, they even put a RW spin on sports!!
