SE Conn. - Wind is really noticable now.

Last edited Tue Jan 27, 2015, 02:59 AM - Edit history (1)

I'm about 10 miles inland, but up on a tall hill. The wind is starting to become a constant background sound, like it was during Sandy.

UPDATE: 1:58 AM

NWS is holding firm on our forecast. Given that it is expected to continue snowing for the next 24 hours, I think it's possible.

Not too worried, my "house killer" 100 year-old oak trees are on the south side.

Two neighbors actually.

Hills are nice, though. I grew up living next to a brook. Too many memories of floods.

How did you fare during the Halloween storm of 2010?

that were dark for 5 days. We were on a different line than everybody else.

We had a 5 month old so we were forced to go live with my parents at the time.

We were seriously pissed.
