given that a drone was found on the whitehouse .. how long will it be before

Something like this is used to attack the potus or anyone for that matter ..what if you buy the stuff anonymously and operate it from a 1000 miles away over a high speed 4G network.

Drones are a terrorist's/anarchist's wet dream.

Its time to ban them from civilian use.

These put extended strike capacity in the hands of anyone who wants it.

Not sure how we could roll the whole drone thing back into obscurity at this point.

How about we ban neither?

This country is ban crazy enough as it is without adding more nonsense to calm he fears of the busy bodies,
and easily panic stricken.

Dutch artist turns dead cat into remote-controlled helicopter, dubbed ‘Orvillecopter’

Cats may get nine lives, but not quite like this.

A Dutch artist, upset over losing his beloved pet, Orville, had the animal stuffed and transformed its body into a remote-controlled helicopter, Sky News reported Monday.

The “half cat, half machine” piece of art was dubbed the “Orvillecopter.” The cat, who was killed when it was hit by a car, was named after famed American aviator Orville Wright.

“After a period of mourning, he received his propellers posthumously,” Jansen said.

A video posted to YouTube shows the flying feline slowly hover several feet in the air in a park, its body permanently spread eagle with propellers on its front paws.

Artist Bart Jansen teamed up with radio control helicopter expert Arjen Beltman after having a taxidermist preserve the pussy cat, Reuters reported.

The bizarre creation was then unveiled at the Kunstrai art festival in Amsterdam on Saturday.

I bought his "Squirrel In Baby Bassinet Eating Baby"

He died young and unknown.

Truly one of the most gifted painters I've ever witnessed in real life.

"Drones" have existed for quite a long time - It's only recently that people have started to add things in and adapt them for other uses.

Anybody want to bet that there'll be a major incident involving a passenger plane and a drone close to an airport soon?

...the involved drone has a radio frequency range of about 300 yards. It can carry a Go Pro camera with protective housing and battery (6.7 oz.).

Down the road the existing technology could certainly become a threat, but what happened was a drunken nerd crashed an expensive toy.
