Being Jewish myself, I have herad this same question from Conservative, Republican Jews, who are often from old money and have no close memory of Almost two Milenia of poverty and repression.

It is jarring reading.

I don't think the author intended it to be a joke, but it was. To sum it up for those who don't feel like reading through the drivel and age-old stereotypes: JEWS...be more religiously orthodox! I "wrote" his entire article in 5 words, which is pretty good for someone who is as verbose as I can be.

Of course, what is not so funny, is that the right wants us to be more conservative and the left claims we already are.
