Planned by and carried out by individuals right under the nose of the Bush/Quale administration.
On February 26, 1993, a truck bomb was detonated below the North Tower of the World Trade Center in New York City. The 1,336 pounds (606 kg) urea nitratehydrogen gas enhanced device was intended to send the North Tower (Tower 1) crashing into the South Tower (Tower 2), bringing both towers down and killing thousands of people. It failed to do so, but did kill six people and injured more than a thousand.
Thank God President Clinton was in office to track down and punish those criminals and not start some world war over it.
Oh and FUCK GHWBush.

...within the buildings in 1993, which made it all the harder to get them out. And many didn't.
Who was mayor from 1994-December 2001? The same guy who doesn't think Obama loves America "like us".

Little did we know what would happen to shock us 9 years later.
