Once when walking in the woods I came across piles of deer bones scattered about .
Best I could tell maybe 8 or 9 deer had been killed and dragged there.

All the bones had chew marks on them . My best guess is either a pack of coyotes or a pack of wild dogs.
Some of the bones were older than others so they kept dragging them there to eat them in that particular spot.

It was pretty weird .

I have a couple more but lets get some true stories in this thread

1. Coming back from a trip to Victoria, Tamaulipas, Mexico

To the ranch of one of my cousins where we had spent a weekend in the wilderness.

On the trip back we were in a caravan of three vehicles.

We had a flat. After changing the flat, and resuming the trip, we had a second flat.

We fixed that one and a short while later, we had a third flat.

We were out of spares, so someone had to drive ahead with the third flat (and the others) to get them repaired.

So there we were in the middle of nowhere, waiting for the fixed flats to come back.

While we were waiting there in total darkness, new moon darkness I might add, we saw some lights in the horizon.

The lights came toward us and hovered, bobbing and weaving.

We could not tell how far they were, but there were at least eight or nine of us watching these lights.

Green, fluorescent, lights.

After a while, watching these lights that seemed observe us as we were observing them, the suddenly started moving together in the same direction.

The gained speed, and suddenly, bolted out of sight, away from us.

And we were left there, in total darkness, waiting for the repaired tires to return.

An hour or so later, the fixed flats returned and we resumed our trip home.

Wondering about what we had just witnessed.

That's it. That's my story, and I'm sticking with it.

Been there, done that, have the mission patches.

This is something freaky that happened to me, that has never been adequately explained.

Oh, I'm sure there are parallax voodoo explanations about not knowing how far the objects were. But this was not one person seing the phenomenon. This was seven or eight, watching from different perspectives. So, WTF?

Anyway, you asked, and this is my story. And I'm sticking with it.

I worked Shuttle, from ALT to STS-4, if you want specifics.

events not so easily explained. I'm not a CT'er at all. Sometimes I listen to reports by very very credible individuals and I really don't see how they can be dismissed.

Was the cause for the flat tires similar in nature? I mean, was there a nail in each tire or something?

4. When I was living in Alaska...

I had three cats; Bree (the mother), Joval, and Monkeyface. Fairly often Monkeyface would come in around bedtime, curl up and go to sleep on my bed with me. So the feel of a cat jumping up into my bed, pawing around and then flopping on me to sleep wasn't at all unusual.

so, one night i had just climbed into bed, and there it is, ba-bum bump, a cat jumping onto the bed. walking over my thigh, and settling in to sleep at the space between my knees. it was al lwarm and putting that I anted to reach down and give it a pet.

There was nothing there.

So, I figured, you know, maybe I'm imagining it. or asleep and dreaming. Nope, here comes another pounce onto my bed, as Monkeyface joins me, nuzzles my face, and then drapes herself on my pillow at the top of my head. I reach up, yes, she's really there. I reach down and despite clear purring pressure on my leg, there's nothing there.

For two years, this continued, even after I had to get rid of the cats. I would get into bed, a cat would jump onto the bed, paw around, then flop down to sleep. Sometimes next to my hip. sometimes between my knees. Or against a foot, once or twice against a shin. It would only happen at night, if I took a nap in the day or laid down to read a book before 7, nothing happened. But if I climbed in after eight, for any reason, there it was. It was warm. It purred. it moved, and would even get up and walk around if i mived too much. But there was never anything there.

It never really bothered me. I mean, i'm a pretty rational person, I don't believe in the supernatural, but I know with 100% certainty that an insubstantial thing that acted, felt, and moved just like a cat, spent two years snuggling up on my legs while I was in bed. And really, when you think about it. most ghost stories are pretty freaky or unsettling. me? I got an entity-thing that leaned on me and purred at bedtime. So compared to some Amityville bullshit, I think I was doing alright.

Anyway after two years, it stopped coming. I have no idea what it was, what started it, or why it stopped. Just one of those things.

But like i said, fuck it, if it was a "ghost" I suppose it could have been some totally some freaky shit, like bleeding walls or little girls crawling out of televisions. instead I got a warm purring thing before bed.

But!

Since childhood I have had what I call recurring ghost dreams. The frequency of these dreams is sporadic. I had one last night, as a matter of fact. Last night's dream was not in any way frightening, just mildly disturbing. I had some drinks last night before bed.

Last week I had the strangest ghost dream. It took place in my childhood home. There was a presence in the kitchen. The presence was quite disturbing. My wife was with me in the dream. I told her we had to rid ourselves of this disturbing presence. Somehow, during the dream, I don't recall the details, I discovered that the presence was associated with a bag of ordinary plastic grocery bags. There had been a murder and the murderer had used those bags in some manner. It seemed that the presence was angered by my discovery. We got rid of the bags and the disturbance was eliminated. That was all I can remember.

Over the years I have had many examples of these paranormal dreams. I never have dreams of UFOs or other oddities.
