Sen. Ted Cruz, who met briefly with Netanyahu at AIPAC before the speech, said he doesn’t think the Obama administration’s record reflects that.

“I think the friendship between the nation of Israel and the American people has as strong as it’s ever been. Unfortunately, the Obama administration has been the most hostile and antagonistic administration to Israel in our nation’s history,” Cruz said in an interview after the speech.

He compared the Iran talks to the pre-World War II Munich peace conference, Obama to Neville Chamberlain and Netanyahu to Winston Churchill.

“Prime Minister Netanyahu speaks to the threats to our security with a clarity and strength that is unique on the world stage,” Cruz said.
