You Would Never Guess The Breed Of These Adorable Puppies

X post in Pets

Meet Joey, a West Highland terrier. He's the proud father of 11 puppies, after somehow cross-breeding with a rottweiler double his size, named Zara. Both dogs live in the same home, but their owner Teresa Patterson didn't even know Zara was pregnant until after she'd given birth. In her own words:

I was completely shocked, I didn't think nature would let this happen but at some point it did. The puppies have a lovely temperament like their parents. They are high maintenance as they want attention all the time. One of the puppies, Sparkie, which our son is having, follows me everywhere I go. But this won't happen again - Joey will be going to the vet soon.

For Joey and the rest of the terrier breed, this kind of mating doesn't happen very often. But the results, a litter of puppies given the name "Wotties", are nothing short of adorable. Check out the photos below. (a few more photos at link)

They made a movie along these lines....only with people. It's called Corazón de león -- it is a romantic comedy set in Buenos Aires.

I highly recommend it, it is in Spanish but there are subtitles at HBO...

Unless Zara was lying down, I admit I don't see how that happened either.

Next thing you know, half the backyard breeders in America will be producing these.

I wonder...if you crossbred a Cocker Spaniel with a Shih-tsu to get a Cock-a-Shit, and a Rottweiler with a Standard Poodle to get a Rotten Poo, then bred the F1 crosses to produce a Cocky Shitty Rotten Poo...what would they look like?

Or it can go horribly wrong. We had a female boxer and a male German Shepherd that got together...the result was 100 pound out of control mastiff like creature...I've always liked boxers...after this I know the typical 40-60 lb boxer is about all the boxer anyone would want...
