Yes, he did. In 2007, Rove attempted to rewrite history by claiming that Bush did not want to invade Iraq, but the then Democratic Senate could not wait to get the invasion rolling and they rushed to vote for war.

Keep this in mind every time you read or hear someone claim that Hillary Clinton was personally responsible for the war.

In fact, almost everyone in this country was personally responsible for the war. I am one of a tiny minority of people who regularly wrote letters (starting in July 2002) to the editor and protested the war. The Democratic Party was shaken by 9/11. US citizens were afraid. They demanded that we be protected from weapons of mass destruction. No one except the Bush administration knew that the WMDs were lies.

And yes, I know that no one wants to think that they are drinking Turdblossom's Tea. But they are. Yummy.

1. Holding a war vote against a candidate from back then is absurd.

This is all about getting well meaning liberals to think twice about Hillary.

What we know is Elizabeth Warren in 2012 said she was against the war, when she ran for the Senate.

But is there something in writing from back when the war started as her being on the record against it?

I cant find it. I can find important differences between these two and I like Liz, but I cant find this.

While she has a share of the responsibility for Iraq due to her vote, the strongest evidence of her tendencies is Libya, where she pushed for - and got - a war nobody else really wanted, leaving that country in a state of complete chaos that persists to this day. The Iraq vote was just a preview of what was yet to come.
