Firefighters use Jaws of Life to rescue trapped dog

OCEANSIDE, Calif. (AP) — Authorities in Southern California say fire crews used the Jaws of Life to save a dog that wiggled between two storage containers at an elementary school.

San Diego television station KNSD reports ( http://bit.ly/1AaIK9O ) a 12-year-old Rhodesian ridgeback got himself stuck around noon Sunday while playing with kids at the school playground in Oceanside.

Officials say the dog apparently went deeper into the narrow space while trying to get out.

was George Hurst, famous in the car guy world for his Hurst four speed shifter. Also brought drag racing the hurst Hemi Under Glass barracude wheelstander and the Hurst hairy oldmobile, which had four wheel drive and two blown Olds engines. amongst many other things.
