Former head of sheriff's SWAT team arrested, accused of fraud

Weippert, 48, is the SWAT sharpshooter who killed 15-year-old Chris Penley at Milwee Middle School on Jan. 13, 2006.

The teenager came to school with a toy gun — an air pistol — brandished it and holed up in a bathroom, setting off a panic that prompted teachers to lock school children in classrooms on the other side of campus.

Weippert shot Penley in the head without consulting his commanders.

He told an FDLE investigator he pulled the trigger after the boy pointed the toy gun at him.

Sad that money trumps human life, but glad this trigger-happy goon may be out of commission.

Would that all greedy or violent people meet the same fate.
