Shouldn't NBC be canceling the Apprentice now that Trump has an exploratory committee?

As FOX did to Huckabee, Newt and Santorum when they threw their hats in?

Instead, they've signed on for another season and are proceeding as planned.

I realize the execs know his bid is a joke, but if he's formed the committee, they should sever his ties with NBC's entertainment wing.

however there is a big difference between the entertainment and news divisions. There is no election law that says Trump needs to be dropped from the NBC show.

That "big difference" has become a very small difference over the years - and is shrinking by the day.

I agree with you. However the actual news divisions are independent from entertainment divisions.

Doesn't change the fact that the "news" these days looks more and more like entertainment for the masses.
