Related: Editorials & Other Articles, Issue Forums, Alliance Forums, Region ForumsDoes anyone here use the Resound Lynx hearing aids with the iPhone?
Edit: to add I have been pretty deaf since childhood and never had a hearing aid and since I am all Mac and iPhone, I thought that these would be nice with what all they can do. Just wondering if anyone has any experience with them.

OP
I don't, why are you asking? You could try DU's little used group deaf/hard of hearing.

I don't have any personal experience, but their website says they're made to be compatible...

I am looking at them since they would do my gym music, be able to listen to TV etc.

I found some customer reviews here, less than stellar--maybe they will be helpful to you:

What works is very good (I love the find feature), but streaming phone calls does not work (it drops the call over 90% of the time) and there is no way to permanently set the default to not stream phone calls. You have to set it every time you connect your hearing aids to your phone. It is extremely annoying!!! First they need to allow a permanent default to be set!!! Then they need to improve streaming phone calls to stop dropping calls!
I see there were bug fixes in version 3 - they missed one

Verson 3 is definitely an improvement, especially bringing back the mute button. Except I notice if I mute my aids, then open another app on my 5S iPhone it loses the mute setting and I have to hit the mute button again. It does this about two thirds of the time - must depend on available memory on the iPhone. Im on the latest version of iOS - 8.1.3.
Meh....

I invested in resound Linx about 2 months ago, primarily for the convenience of iPad3 connectivity. I continue to be disappointed. The app is pretty limited in terms of what it can do. The hearing aids themselves are ok, but not for streaming. Sometimes they pair with the iPad, more often not. Sometimes they appear to be paired in my iPad accessibility settings, but the resound app doesn't see them, and they won't stream. When it does (periodically) work, the quality of the streamed sound is pretty terrible. I haven't been able to use the streaming feature consistently for over a month.

Looks like it might be a good idea that needs a bit of work...?
