The Kochs and their allies are driving to end prevailing wage laws that will increase their profits and deflate the wages of workers doing government contract work in construction and other areas. It is a strategy to drive down wages across the board because prevailing wage laws on government contracts tend to buoy community wage bases.

Their efforts are are a multi front war on wages nationally. The ultimate goal is to abolish wage floors altogether and let the "free market" determine wages and benefits in the US. Such wage and labor conditions will allow the Kochs and their allies to profit on government contracts with NO savings to taxpayers but severely reduced wages for workers doing jobs on government contracts.

Labor and wages are under attack all across the country by the Kochs thru their myriad of foundations and think tanks from the bottom to the top.
