(5,018 posts)I love that he did the first post 911 joke, I love that he has no boundaries.
I also suspect some folks are going to be bothered by something he or someone else says.
It is expected, and at some point most of us may be insulted by something a comic says.
I completely understand her feelings and thoroughly care about her pain, and at the same time I want comedy to continue to have no limits , no rules, no out of bounds.

(46,179 posts)I think the bulk of the anger should be addressed to those who laugh at jokes that demean people with disabilities. If they didn't laugh, they wouldn't be providing that rotten fodder to performers. Professional comedians or class clowns or garden variety verbal bullies...if the audience doesn't appreciate the joke, they don't get what they are seeking.
