HEY NFL - About time Los Angeles has a football team.

You could move the Colts there.

And to be honest, you could have a serious impact on the state by saying if Indiana wants to practice Jim Crow laws on the LGBT and other minorities then the NFL will move the football team to a state that will show equality to everyone.

During the decades that I grew up and aged in CA, I attended Rams games in Anaheim and Raiders games in Los Angeles.

Outside of the NFL, I also attended some of the short-lived USFL Los Angeles Express games. That's where I first watched Steve Young play.

If someone is going to move back to L.A., it should most logically be the Raiders. Does the SF/Oakland area really need TWO professional teams? My current state doesn't even have one.

That, of course, is beside your point about Jim Crow laws. While I agree with your point, I doubt if the NFL cares.

I'm sure that there are fans who would resist, as well as fans that would support, such a move. Just the public conversation it would spark would be useful.
