Mike Pence inserts himself into another controversy

Probably hoping this one goes unnoticed amid the furor of his so-called religious freedom law. Bigotry isn't the only bull shit Pence is shoveling.

"INDIANAPOLIS (WISH) — On the day after Mike Pence signed the religious freedom bill into law, the governor is wading into the middle of another controversy.

He is spending campaign funds to push another item on the conservative agenda.

The governor supports elimination of the common wage law that is used to set wage rates on public projects and he appears in new TV ads in support of a repeal.

<snip>

“What he’s doing is immoral and I don’t see how the governor can even sleep at night,” said AFL-CIO President Brett Voorheis. He also called the governor’s actions shameful.

“What he’s been doing to education, what he’s been doing on discrimination,” he said, “now he’s trying to lower workers wages, you know, when’s the bleeding gonna stop? What is this governor’s priorities?”

I can't believe people are still shocked and asking that question, it should be obvious by now! When the citizenry body has not a single drop of blood left in the system. When all fluids have been sucked out of the body by the parasitic fundies and EVEN then that won't be enough...they will burn the body on a cross and stand around it and sing Praise Jesus he is the Son of Peace while holding hands!

I've been saying it for years now, we are at WAR (the secular parts of society) between intellectualism and fundamentalism and sometimes I think the fundies are winning!

Fundamentalist have a problem with abstract thought. Maybe that is why they have faith and never ask any questions? Authoritarians have a problem with abstract reasoning. Put the two together and you have double suck city for the poor souls that live under their rule.

I seriously doubt that any savings on wages would go anywhere but to the owners of the construction businesses who have the contracts.

Why else would he spend $250,000 of his campaign funds to persuade the state Senate to pass this law - if not that it makes some folks richer who will then be more generous with his future campaign(s).

Oh, and to try to out run Gov. Walker per being anti union and anti worker.

Gov. Dense: working hard to ruin the economy and economic strength of the citizens of yet another GOP run state!
