your generosity amazes me daily. In a world of increasing hate for those more in need this makes my heart very happy.
I think this works. Thank you

(12,022 posts)A few years ago, I wanted to send up a fundraiser for a research organization, and did some investigation into which sites worked best. Gofundme was far and away the most reliable and took the smallest administrative cut.

(12,022 posts)Hope that, as DUers wake up on the west coast, more donations will come in.

(31,997 posts)any donation we get now will allow us to repeat making the blankets again in the Spring semester with a different set of students.
your love amazes me.
Any proceeds left over will still purchase material to continue the project for the years following.

(46,585 posts)No, I can't believe that young man didn't have a blanket. That depth of poverty leaves me gutted. Thanks for sharing this opportunity to do something about it. You have really been inspirational.

(31,997 posts)I truly am amazed at how generous the DU world is.
I never doubt it but to see it play out just makes me so happy.
I will post pictures along the way.
Because of the generous nature we will get to do this starting in May, then again in November and then again next May and hopefully beyond that as well.
From the bottom of my heart we thank you so very very much.

(31,997 posts)Thank you EVERY ONE who donated and helped this goal to be reached in such a short amount of time. Know that your generosity given donations have touched the life of a student that most people wouldn't give a second look too. Because we reached our goal, we are going to close this fund so that others can benefit. Thank you SO much.
