"Religious Freedom" vs Women's Rights

Remember when we heard stories of pharmacists refusing to fill prescriptions for birth control pills because it violated their religious beliefs? Were they empowered to do this by one of the existing religious freedom bills? Those actions infuriated me!

A pharmacist is licensed and hired to dispense medicine, not make moral judgements.

While I understand and am very concerned about religious freedom bills allowing for discrimination against the LGBT community, I can foresee them being used to justify other discriminatory actions as well.

While individuals like the pharmacist could possibly benefit, it's intended particularly to protect those with money, the sort of people who could afford the requisite lawsuits.

The rubes, of course, still see it as a dog-whistle meant for them, and they cheer.
