Robotics team qualified for the championships, but can't compete without help

Riverside University HS Team 2830

ABOUT THIS CAMPAIGN
FIRST: For the Inspiration & Recognition of Science & Technology.

The FIRST Robotics Challenge Team #2830, from Riverside University High School in Milwaukee, WI has qualified for a spot at the FIRST World Championships in St. Louis, MO (April 22-25). This is the first time that the team has ever qualified for the championships!

With this awesome opportunity comes a fairly hefty price tag. A rough breakdown of our costs is shown below:

$5000 - FIRST Championships Registration Fee
$1700 - Hotel Rooms (5 student rooms for 3 nights)
$1000 - Meals (24 people for 4 days)
$4000 - Transportation (1 bus @ $1000/day)
$400 - Trailer Rental & Mileage

$12,100 - TOTAL

Our current team sponsors have been generous enough to contribute sufficient funds to cover the event registration, but we are still a long ways away from guaranteeing that financial situations will not prevent any of our members from attending. The team has been working incredibly hard since the kickoff in January, and every contribution goes a long way for the students!

Thanks in advance!

If you're able, please help and/or pass this on to help these brilliant kids. It's 100% tax deductible, too

Thanks!!

They are part of the Milwaukee Public School system which has been hit hard by the Walker budgets.
