'Thank you, sir, for your honesty. I, too, was a lifelong Republican, until I realized the same thing as you: That the Republican party was no longer working for me. Good luck, in your decision. I know it's difficult, because I struggled with the same decision as well.'

(7,300 posts)He has a pre-existing condition of stupidity. It was painful just listening to him try to think. I knew he was a typical idiot when the first word out of his mouth after "Hello Youtube" was "Ummmmmm". Before you folks give him too much credit, he said he's still undecided.

(48 posts)People like this guy are self-centered and egotistical. Its all about themselves. Unless they personally benefit from something, they don't care and they wont support it. He now wants to vote democrat because of his health insurance and he does not want the Republicans to take it away. I bet you if he was not personally affected he would have gladly voted against it and cry everyone else down. Am sure someone like him still cries down welfare recipients and others in the margins of society. Take a back seat!

(2,948 posts)Doesn't make sense, retired at 50? Only people I know who retired at 50 are ex military or very wealthy, and retired military have health insurance. Plus gym membership paid for by your health insurance, I've never heard of that. I smell a rat.
