1. It was. His murder was illegal, too. I'm glad they've made some arrests.

Now we can only hope they get some convictions.

2. Maybe, this time, some good will come of this tragedy at a national level.

We can do this, body cams and the like.

3. To me that matters most. Any action after that was criminal.

Not just negligence.

5. If he had a 155mm Howitzer in his pocket, there was no excuse for the beating he took.

Or the lack of medical treatment.

You can see he was clearly hurt BEFORE they put him in that van.

6. This is what makes it even more an outrage

He is dead and he did nothing wrong. And they didn't even care to give him medical treatment.

Here in mo in ferguson what was just indefense was leaving michael brown's body to rot on street for 3 hours.

7. The knife was LEGAL

Maryland State's Attorney Marilyn J. Mosby announced criminal charges against all six police officers involved in the arrest of Freddie Gray, which she declared "a homicide" and “an illegal arrest.” She also said the knife Gray was carrying was legal.

“The knife was not a switchblade and is lawful under Maryland law,” Mosby said, contradicting the charging documents.
