Those things they call "debates" on tv? Where some candidates get more talk time than others, the questions are "customized," they don't all get to answer the same questions about the same issues? You think those are debates? They are controlled.

Happily, you can see how Sanders handles himself with interviews, at least; he's all over the media, talking directly about issues, which HRC avoids.

I'd love to see real debates, with one list of questions that all answer, and equal talking time. I don't think that will be happening.

DU is not a microcosm of society, nor is it even a microcosm of the Democratic party. So your sample pool is corrupt before you start.

Interesting to see such overwhelming support for Bernie, anyway.

That is in no way, shape or form a valid poll on either candidate, and other than agreeing with you on which one you'd prefer, you have no basis for saying that the people who responded on informed or not.

Why not give people reasons based on policy positions? Follow Sanders' lead, he doesn't do negative campaigning.

Oh and even if you're right, remember this from Adlai Stevenson:

A supporter once called out, "Governor Stevenson, all thinking people are for you!" And Adlai Stevenson answered, "That's not enough. I need a majority."

He was obviously more realistic than we have been led to believe. I was only a child then, but a good friend and lifelong radical Democrat still didn't like Stevenson because she thought he was too out of touch.

That, at least, is one problem Bernie shouldn't have.

I do agree that the claims of what the poll shows are greatly exaggerated. I voted for Sanders in the poll, because I won't vote for Clinton in the primaries. If other candidates join the race I'll evaluate my options.

I am very surprised at how lopsided the vote was, given that it wasn't just a handful of participants. I think that does say something about how challenging not only the primaries, but the general election (assuming a Clinton nomination) will be.
