When she and her family returned to England her daughter married her brother's son.
I took weeks to get over that shock. The lady and her husband were first rate professionals.

When 2 (or more) siblings from one family marry 2 (or more) siblings from another.

So my grandmom and her sister married 2 brothers from the same family.

It's dangerous because they are genetically closer to siblings than regular first cousins.

All the cousins have the same DNA. My niece always loved my son and were best friends. They used to joke around and say it's a good thing it would be illegal for them to get married.

But if one of them were gay...would it now be illegal?

but when it is done over and over you see some weird results. I saw that with an old boyfriend's dad's side of the family (he was adopted, else I would have dumped him in case I got preggers).

Notice that the "court clerk" is qualified to determine "insanity" or "imbecility." Drunkenness I will defer to the court clerk's decision.

(common great grandparent pair) that I did not know well growing up, with whom I had a lot in common, and I could have theoretically considered it. Not illegal anywhere in the U.S. Which is strange, when you think of it. I have other second cousins that lived nearby and I knew as a kid - any of them seemed like relatives - so it's partly psychological.
