I disagree with him on some issues. But he is the very best legal advocate for environmental issues, in this country.

One of the best physicists, decided he was an "expert" at nutrition.

He was a total ass also.

So. Very. Enraging.

Screaming about parental choice. What about other parents' choice to not have their children contract easily preventable diseases?

And, if I understand the law correctly, all they're saying is that an unvaccinated child has to be homeschooled.

Well, there's your choice, bub.

it was homeschooled alone, at home. Now they can form their own school and homeschool all the little we ones as a collective. They could even hire teachers.

This cult of personality thing detracts from talking about the actual issue/problem on this and most other issues. It gets more clicks, maybe. But it veils the bigger picture. It exacerbates team mentalities.

Not meaning to harsh on you in particular about this, but I find it very frustrating. Like in terms of the TPP, when we should be talking about historical outcomes of previous trade deals and the details (insofar as we can find them out) of this one, instead it is about Obama/Bernie/H Clinton/Warren/B Clinton/etc... Makes me wanna scream. I feel the same way about this. It isn't about RFK and his opinions, it is about public health, measurable outcomes, science....

Sigh.

you can got a medical provider, not necessarily a doctor. They will give you a lecture about why vaccines are good, and you can still request an exception based on his noodle appendage and how opposed you are to it on religious grounds. Alternatively, you can go and tell the provider that your wee one does not need that needle until they grow up and can chose for himself or herself

It used to be that you needed to download the form and take it to school to be filed.

This law closes that small loophole.

And these charming folks have even issued death threats to Senator Pan...

We even posted a story yesterday, but since it is in a CALIFORNIA paper and not a national blog, I did not bother posting it here. Never mind we have been following this, including a couple demonstrations against the bill, I ran a cute photo out of one of them, but it really does not matter.

Hell, I talk from time to time with one of the co-sponsors of this regularly.

What should scare you is that my state would be joining ONLY VA and MI in having these "thought" common all over Latin America, standards. How third world of us.
