Running Free: University High junior hopes to raise money to run in Australia

When Uriah Little Owl was 3, his mother, Kacy, took him out to Burlington, where she grew up, to the fair.

Solomon, his father, and Kacy kept at least one eye on him at all times. Most parents of toddlers will do that, but with Uriah, they’d learned they both had to watch him. Come on, their friends said. It's a very rare occasion when I post a sports-related item. But this is more than sports. I first met Solomon Little Owl, this young man's father, when he ran for congress several years ago. A former Marine, Solomon was/is eminently qualified; had he been a Republican he would have won in a heartbeat. The family is still a treasured asset in our community. Please read the story and, if you can, help Uriah run across Australia. Thanks!
