Bristol Palin Falls For Caitlyn Jenner ESPN Hoax: 'Isn’t That Crazy!!!'

The daughter of former GOP vice presidential nominee Sarah Palin was among the legions of conservatives who fell for a hoax on Wednesday involving Caitlyn Jenner and a double-amputee Iraq War veteran who served in the Army.

The hoax, which was quickly debunked by the sports network ESPN, said that Army vet and athlete Noah Galloway had been the runner-up for the network's "courage" award to Jenner, a former Olympian who recently made a splash for coming out as a transgender woman.....

Bristol Palin's full post is below:

Did you see this?
ESPN gave a “courage award” to Caitlyn Jenner instead of this amazing veteran amputee.

Isn’t that crazy!!! I hate how everything in this liberal world is, “Oh equality for all, but not if you don’t agree with us!”

I hate, for example, how Tim Tebow is SOOO mocked for being a Christian!!!! If anyone says they don’t believe in gay marriage, they’re cursed. Here’s the thing. Caitliyn Jenner looks great! I don’t care what people do… honestly I have gay friends, but it drives me crazy that people like Noah don’t get recognized for sacrificing their LIFE for our country, while being gay/transgender makes you a hero.

But shouldn’t we let everyone have their own opinions? Without restrictions on them?

We have way too many hypocrites.

1. I wish we could make the Palins go away permanently.

Oh and Tim Tebow isn't mocked for being a Christian, he's mocked for being a terrible quarterback.

Her ex-fiancé dodged, not just a bullet, but a cannonball with the Palin clan.

5. Lauren Hill should have been the recipient.

It has nothing to do with Caitliyn, it just that the things Lauren did were simply amazing!

RIP Lauren.

6. She has a retort to that in a later post:

Here’s the thing. I didn’t get “duped.” I know that ESPN did not publish who was considered and rejected for the award. But it is certainly obvious that Noah Galloway and Lauren Hill did not receive the award.

Neither did any of the other athletes who deserved the award far more than Caitlyn Jenner.

That’s all I’m saying.

The so-called “hoax” was that he was perhaps “runner up.” Who cares? I never said he was the runner up.

I’ll make it easy on you. Here are the two options:

1. He was either considered and rejected

2. Or — worse — not considered at all.

The only hoax is the media’s weird inability to see the truth.

9. Ignoring Bristol's gullibility and moving to her comments about Tebow:

Tebow was NOT the first openly Christian athlete in the NFL. Post-game prayer circles existed for decades before Tebow arrived.

Tebow made me cringe for three reasons:

  1. He was a horrible quarterback playing on my favorite team.
  2. His "Tebowing" was always performed away from the rest of the team, allowing the cameras to easily find him.
  3. Fans wearing Tebow's jersey/number with the name Jesus on it was horrible.

Sorry, Bristol, but this liberal does not admire your endless lifestyle hypocrisy or the idiocy of your publicity seeking mother. Why don't you join daddy on the snow-machine circuit and leave us the hell alone?

10. I'm going to get shit for this and I don't give a fuck. Yes, Bristol is a beastly little bigot

but NOTHING can convince me that the ESPY wasn't bestowed on Caitlyn Jenner because of $$$ considerations. Far more eyes (and wallets) than a dead college basketball player could ever hope to attract. And anyone who has followed Hill's story, can't help but be awed by her courage. I understand the pain and disappointment of those who supported her for this award and who until recently, expected that it would go to her.

14. I think ESPN's Cowherd said it best "When did I ever hear you care about this award before?"

You don't care who wins the Aurthur Ash ESPY, you've never cared." The response was about bigotry and not about who wins an award because frankly next year all these concerned people won't mention the award again in their entire life.

You don't have to be a Christian to hate gays and women Bristol, the sooner you learn that the happier your life might be. People that hide or base their hate behind the word Christian get no respect. If you're a hater like Tebow and Dungy don't be surprised when people say no thanks to that...
