If you wear glasses, you are supposed to know how strong your lenses are...

You do not need an ID to fly on a plane. If you forget or lose your ID, TSA has a way to run a trace on you, to verify you're a real person. It takes 30 minutes to an hour, but it can be done, and you can fly. That's better than the voter ID states, where you simply don't get to vote if you don't have ID.
