A Kansas church, known for its picketing of soldiers' funerals, is promising to protest the funeral of Beau Biden on Saturday.

The Westboro Baptist Church of Topeka, Kansas, according to its website godhatesfags.com, will picket outside Wilmington's St. Anthony of Padua Catholic Church from 9:30 a.m. to 10:30 a.m.

Biden's funeral Mass starts at 10:30 a.m. at St. Anthony.

The group also targets Biden's father, Vice President Joe Biden.

Don't worry, plans are already being made to block these assholes from the mourners. I wasn't planning on going over to the church on Saturday but if there is a counter to block these assholes will be there to help. The Church is only a few blocks away and these Westboro scum need to know they don't mess with Delaware.

2. Lately they only threaten their repulsive picketing

and then don't actually show up. The publicity they get from saying they were going to picket is really all they want. If they were serious about actually being there they wouldn't announce their plans in advance. If they do show up, the Secret Service will keep them away, since the Biden family gets SS protection.

But I cannot image the gov wants us bikers associated with the funeral on national TV. Oh well I doubt the Church will even show up.

the church has a massive festival starting Sunday so the area is setup with rides and concession stands everywhere.

I find it ironic a few people complain in the paper about the inconvenience with the traffic, street shutdown and parking because on Sunday that Festival causes the same exact headache (minus the Secret Service) so why are people complaining?

that they are fading out. Since daddy died we don't see them much anymore. I don't live in town so I don't have a lot of opportunity but I don't think they were out before my concerts and I used to see them somewhere most times I was in town.

Every funeral picket just smacks of the worst behavior that can be exhibited. Having known quite a few of them in school I am not sure that it is anything more than rancid publicity and imagine (maybe incorrectly) that other than Shirley, most are tired of it. JMHO

I hope the Biden family never gets a hint of this. I wish them well and I wish them peace.

Usually we show up early flags in hand and line the street as a sign of honor and respect as the family members drive by. No words just respect as they drive by. Seeing the comfort on the family members face when we honor their deceased this has to be a good thing.
